Thanks, Kandace Banks is a comedic web series based on my actual life. I re-tell my story as a feisty fashion intern who is chasing her dreams of becoming a celebrity stylist in New York City. Despite my efforts, I often wind up in colorful drama as I clash against the diabolical gatekeepers of the fashion industry.

Indiana-born and Virginia-raised, I moved to New York in 2017 and assisted various fashion stylists. After finally landing an internship with a major celebrity stylist, I assisted with several high-profile projects, including an Emmy-award winning series on HBO Max.

From there, I branched out and took on styling projects under my own name. My success began to accelerate at the top of 2020, until the pandemic changed everything.

In summer 2020, I moved to LA with dreams of breaking into Hollywood with my story. I launched it as a web series on TikTok. It immediately took social media by storm, sparking interviews, podcasts, and brand collaborations. My end goal is to develop an actual series available for streaming on platforms such as HBO Max, which will bring my entire story full circle.
